“Van Gogh” Gone To Silver Hills

Sadly, our brother Donny “Van Gogh” Eddington of ECV Chapter 1864, Julia C. Bulette, has gone to the Silver Hills. His passing was completely unexpected and leaves an enormous hole in our chapter. Van Gogh was always the first to step up for anything the chapter or one of his brothers needed. He was the guy who volunteered to repair the roof on the ECV Building in Virginia City, jumped in to help run the bar and the kitchen long before he became a chapter officer, and his skill with a smoker was legendary (we’ll miss his smoked cheese).

There will be a celebration of life at the Moran Building in VC on Saturday the 21st of December at 6pm. This event is open to all Red Shirts, their Widders and Orphans, any close friends of Van Gogh, and of course his family. Food is being prepared, and the bar will be open. Join us as we remember this excellent member of JCB and the larger ECV community…
